Account Manager
JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for an Account Manager to own the owner relationship after a property has been onboarded to Stay®. You are the person owners call, the one who explains the monthly statement, and the one who catches a problem before it becomes a complaint. Attention to detail and calm under pressure are the baseline. Holding a relationship with someone whose asset you are responsible for is the standard.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of property owners
- Deliver and explain monthly owner statements clearly and on schedule
- Conduct regular performance review calls: occupancy, revenue, and market positioning
- Identify at-risk accounts early and work with operations to resolve the issue
- Process owner requests: maintenance authorisations, booking overrides, rate adjustments
- Work toward measurable retention targets across your assigned portfolio
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in account management, client success, or relationship management
- Comfortable reading and explaining financial statements and occupancy reports
- Calm, direct communicator who can deliver difficult news without losing the relationship
- Organised and self-directed: manages own follow-up without being chased
- Experience with a CRM platform (HubSpot or similar); property or hospitality background an advantage
